Missing Children Europe (MCE), founded in 2001, unites 32 organizations across 27 countries to combat child abduction and exploitation. As the coordinator of the EU’s 116 000 hotline and the Cross-Border Family Mediators network, MCE is a leader in safeguarding vulnerable children and their families.
Boostern collaborated with Missing Children Europe (MCE) to design a refreshed visual identity that aligns with the organisation's mission of protecting and empowering children. The project began with an alignment meeting to deeply understand MCE’s values, mission, and aspirations. From there, moodboards were developed to establish a visual direction that resonated with MCE’s audience and reflected its core objectives. The new branding introduced a modern colour palette, dynamic shapes, and versatile fonts to represent MCE’s commitment to safety and empowerment. Images was carefully curated to uphold children’s privacy and dignity, using symbolic imagery such as silhouettes and puzzle pieces to convey the organisation’s mission. To ensure consistency, Boostern delivered comprehensive brand guidelines detailing the application of the visual identity across digital and print media. The final package included business card templates, stationery designs, presentation formats, report templates, and unique silhouette illustrations. This cohesive and professional identity empowers MCE to communicate its mission more effectively, supporting its advocacy and outreach efforts across Europe.
It's been a pleasure working with Boostern. They tried their best to understand our demands and were accommodating when it came to our budget. Their timeliness, good communication, and problem-solving creativity made the partnership a seamless. They were specifically accommodating when there were delays in our side and still tried to be flexible enough so that we could meet deadlines. We highly recommend Boostern for design and branding services and eagerly anticipate future collaborations.
